Welcome Bucky!

Last night we welcomed a new addition to our family, Bucky! He is a sweet and energetic Shorkie (shitzu, yorkie). He is actually Tatum's dog. She is thrilled! He slept the entire night at the end of her bed and she was so excited to have a bedtime buddy. Very sweet! Mouse the cat, is not overly happy about it but she tends to just stay out of the dogs' ways. Willie is adjusting to being the big brother. He gets annoyed, but will then play with him. We are working on potty training. He's not 100%, but I am hoping that with Willie leading the way he will learn quickly. He is a delight and we are so happy to welcome him home.

Welcoming Bucky got me thinking about how attentive my animals were while I was sick. One of them was always in my lap or at my feet. At that time we had our big dog, Indy and he was always near me. The main one was my cat, Mouse, she was almost trying to protect me. I always worry when she gets clingy, I start to think there is something wrong with me. They have amazing instincts.

Fall is here and I am so excited. I am not a fan of summer, I hate being hot. I wish I could live in Alaska,but I would have to go alone! My DH wants nothing to do with that! LOL! I love baking, especially with apples and the time is finally here. Enjoy your beautiful day and don't sweat the small stuff!
